Mike Richards leads Paramount Geoscience as Managing Director and principal consultant.  Mike has over 30 years field and management experience across a range of commodities (copper, cobalt, gold, lead-zinc, uranium, rare earths, platinum group metals and nickel) with particular expertise in copper, gold and uranium in Australia and internationally.  Grass roots exploration through to resource definition and feasibility studies are his main areas of proficiency.   Within the copper and gold space Mike has significant expertise across a range of deposit styles including sediment hosted copper-cobalt, IOGC, orogenic gold, VHMS, and unconformity & metamorphic uranium. 

 

Key technical skills include exploration project evaluation, geochemistry, field mapping, structural geology, geophysical interpretation and GIS geology with ancillary specialties including mentoring, training, data QA/QC, project generation, evaluation and mineral resource Competent Person / Qualified Person sign-off.
